The Oestara Seminary of Magick's Early Registration Period is Now Open.
The Oestara Seminary of Magick is an on-line Pagan seminary of mystery and magick for adults, 18 years old and older. The Oestar Seminary of Magick opens for course work October 31st, 2006 at Midnight, EST. Until October 31st, 2006 at Midnight EST, the special early registration fee for a six month semester is $20.00 (USD). Once the Seminary is open for course work, registration is $30.00 for six months.
This first semester the Oestara Seminary of Magick offers more than thirteen Cunning courses with additional Cunning courses being added during the course of the term. All Cunning course are included in your registration fee.
Cunning courses have eight lessons with two on-line tests for you to check your progress. Cunning courses suggest magickal working for you to do, have reccomended reading, and sometimes required readings. Doing the required readings is necessary to pass the on-line tests. You may take Cunning courses as often as you wish, so if you want to improve your grade on the tests you should review the course and take the test again. The pace of your learning is entirely up to you.
When courses open, you will want to earn a Certificate of Cunning Craft. Write a 500 word summary of three same-subject-area Cunning courses. Your essay will be read, commented on and graded by a Seminary Divine for an evaluation fee of $9.00 (USD). You may ask questions of the Divine in your 500 word essay which the Divine will answer. Spelling, mechanics, grammar, composition, all will count in your grade. Certificates of Cunning Craft are only awarded to those earning 80% or better on their tests and summary. (You may rewrite to try for a better grade but each submitted essay/rewrite has an evaluation fee of $9.00.)
Certificate of Cunning Craft Evaluation Fee: $9.00 per attempted essay
Work to earn a Certificate of Witchery. Write a 5,000 word essay on the topic of three same-subject-area Cunning courses. Your 5,000 word essay which will be read, commented on, and graded by a Seminary Divine for an evaluation fee of $35.00 (USD). For this level you must have also read the recommended readings of the courses and done any magical workings recommended by the courses. Spelling, mechanics, grammar, composition, all will count in your grade. Certificates of Witchery are only awarded to those earning 80% or better on their tests and essay. (You may rewrite to try for a better grade but each submitted essay/rewrite has a tuition fee of $35.00.)
Certificate of Witchery Evaluation Fee: $35.00 per attempted essay. Eventually The Oestara Seminary of Magick will offer Certificates of Dragonry, too. The goal is for The Oestara Seminary to become a full-fledged Pagan seminary offering Bachelor of Divinity and Master of Divinity degrees.
If you are 18 years old or older, register to enter The Oestara Seminary of Magick. You affirm by your word as a Pagan that you are 18 years old or older and may legally register to take these relious courses by the laws of your nation.
